Utilities Buyer
South Wales
£20,000 – £30,000 + Excellent Package
IntaPeople are currently working closing with an established local client with an industry recognised reputation, to source a knowledgeable and experienced Utilities Buyer.
The ideal candidate for this role with have an established career history within the Utilities sector, ideally having worked for a utilities provider or broker. Your experience will demonstrate the ability to undertake analysis of clients utilities spend, negotiate contracts and issue and run all utilities buying events (RFI, RFQ and tenders).
In addition, you should also demonstrate experience of monitor market changes, competitor prices and products, and past consumption patterns to forecast future demand. It is absolutely vital that your mathematical and analytical skills are second to none – this will be tested at initial interview stage.
Ideally you will be degree educated and will have very strong IT skills, Excel in particular. You will also be a good team player with the ability to direct and lead where required. This role will be mainly office based with the occasional client visit where necessary.
